TanningProcess

anningProcess:- SS Calcium Hydroxide is the main product in the liming process of L/R. Tanning is avoidable in the fur tanning process of L/R.

A solution of SS Calcium Hydroxide and sodium sulphide are applied to soften and enhance hide for softness and flexibility needed for upholstery leather. This is the process which converts pre-tanned hide into leather.

Hair Removal

SS Calcium Hydroxide in combination with sodium salphide (Na2S) removes the hair from the hair root completely.

It opens the fiber bundle into fibers and removes the Keratin, scale, hooves, horns etc.

Regulation of soil acidity

SS Calcium Hydroxide suspension neutralizes excess acids found in sewage and they regulate soil acidity.

It can be used as a lye substitute. It can be used as a chemical depilatory, a hair removal chemical.
